Our chapter had 10 Good News Clubs in the public schools during the 2024-25 school year! These are after-school Bible clubs for kids which include Bible lessons, games, Bible verses, missionary stories, and songs! Kids love attending the club. Our Good News Clubs reached 212 children with 30 children making decisions to trust Christ as Lord and Savior! Praise God for how He is working in the local area through the many volunteer GNC teachers.

Christian Youth In Action

Christian Youth In Action is our summer program to train high school and college-aged students to teach 5-Day Clubs (see the video below. Students attend a one week training camp at Camp Good News in Washington, IL (near Peoria, IL).

5-Day Club is the club taught by CYIA students. (Click here to learn more.) They include the same elements of a GNC, but they take place one week from Monday through Friday for 1.5 hours. They happen in different locations throughout the county at host homes or churches. Camp Good News operates with CEF of Illinois. Located in Washington, Illinois (near Peoria), the camp serves children year round. During the summer, children come to experience the beauty of God's creation for a week. Good News Club students can earn a free scholarship to a week of camp by completing one 60-Day Wonder Devotional and memorizing 10 Bible verses from club. Sign up for the Truth Chasers Club by clicking on the logo. The Truth Chasers Club is a free Bible correspondence course for children (ages 4-17). Bible lessons are mailed to you so that you can enjoy doing the activities and then send it back. Each lesson is read, graded, and prayer requests are prayed for by volunteers. When lesson series are completed, prizes are given for completing each level. Children learn more about their Savior and how to have a deeper relationship with Him through the lessons.
