Dear Ministry Partners,

“ …for behold, the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land.” Song of Solomon 2:11-12

 April is here and though the rain is not yet over, the flowers are appearing on the earth.  It is such a great reminder of the way our Lord renews us in different seasons. Here at CEF we are in a time of transition from our Good News Clubs to summer ministry. Most of our Good News Clubs concluded at Spring break at the end of March. We are now in the process of recruiting young people who would be willing to take our CYIA™ training and then to teach the summer 5-Day Clubs. We will also need to recruit host families for 5-Day Clubs and volunteers to serve at our outreach booth at the Lake County Fair in July. If you know anyone who would be interested, please let us know. We appreciate all of our volunteers and could not reach as many children with the Gospel without them.

Our Spring Banquet, In the Father's Hands, on Saturday, April 5th was a great success. Thank you to all who were able to attend or sent a special donation. The Good News Club testimonies that were shared highlighted how God is working in the hearts of children in Lake County. View the banquet by clicking below.
